What does a hair product with the words “Salon only mean”? Where can I find salon only products?

I am trying to locate name brands.. For instance Paul Mitchell,Redken,Matrix,or Sebastian,Wella,Tigi Bedhead and Joico. I am interested in the price point as well. Is it more from a salon or in the grocery or supermarket?
Any information provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
